So you want to be a part of the O.F.F. Market family? Ready to apply and get in on all the small business, local love, artistic, tasty, party time, family fun action? Check out these tips before you do to get the most out of your application.
-First, and most basic, double check your app for mistakes! We can't tell you how many people have missed out on notifications because of something as simple as a typo in their email address.
-Read all the details. So many pertinent details are can be found right on the application that answer questions you may have and help you to be prepared for the event. Booth size, necessary equipment, types of vendors we allow, etc.
-As the application suggests, no website, no problem! Email us photos of the merchandise you will be selling. Remember, we receive hundreds of applications and unfortunately, just aren't able to chase everyone down that does not follow instructions. On that note, if you do have a website, make sure it accurately represents what you do and who you are as a business. If it's under construction or needs updating, no problem. Just email us those photos! We can't wait to see them.
-Whoever you are, whatever your business, have a clear voice. Show us what sets you apart from other vendors like you!
-Been a vendor with us before and want to be accepted again? We love our O.F.F. fam and fully embrace repeat and regular vendors. To be one of those, make sure to show us what's new about your business and how you are evolving. Our regular vendors are constantly adding new products to their repertoire to keep even the most regular patrons excited to see them again.
-Booth photos speak can speak volumes. As an indie small business, we understand that not everyone has the time or funds for professional product photos or a perfectly polished website (hey there alliteration!) , but if you can show us how you can rock your booth display, trust us, we'll remember it.
